Plasmatreat awarded innovation prize in the United States

In December the American technical journal Finishing Today Magazine (FTM) honoured Plasmatreat with the FTM INNOVATION AWARD 2007 in the processing technology category. Plasmatreat received the prize for a new environmentally friendly process in the surface pretreatment of aluminium.

Surface disinfection in medicine: Plasmatreat announces new patent

Press release 25.01.2007. As Plasmatreat North America Inc. today announced, the new patent for use of Openair® Plasma technology for disinfecting surfaces has just been registered. According to Managing Director Christian Buske this is the result of successful collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Technology and Packaging (IVV) in Freising, Germany.
The announcement takes place just a few days ahead of the opening of the world’s largest medical exhibition, MD&M West, which takes place in Anaheim, California, and at which Plasmatreat will be present as an exhibitor.
