High level of environmental protection in
coil coating – Openair® plasma application nominated for European Aluminium Award
Particular honour and respect were bestowed upon the companies Plasmatreat GmbH, Steinhagen, and Griesser AG, Aadorf, Switzerland, by their nomination for the European Aluminium Award 2008. The international jury under the chairmanship of Prof. Ir. Laurens Katgerman, Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands, chose their joint candidacy for the use of the plasma process in the precleaning of aluminium coil from among the group of companies proposed for the renowned prize. During the trade show ALUMINIUM 2008 in Essen the exhibits of the nominees were on display for all visitors to see.
