This gives rise to a very wide range of applications. PET film, aluminium foil, fabric, textile, glass, various plastic, metal and noble metal are coated with the aid of this plasma technology. As well this process can be utilised to harden materials, in tool production for example, or to create plastic surfaces very receptive to bonding.
