Pretreatment: High-grade plasma pretreatment process using Openair® plasma

Atmospheric-pressure plasma pretreatment is one efficient process for cleaning, activating or coating materials such as plastic, metal (e.g. aluminium) or glass.

In the course of cleaning with Openair® plasma surfaces are freed of mould release agents and additives, while activation allows subsequent bonding of adhesives and coatings. Furthermore, due to coating the surface properties of a composite are improved. By means of this plasma technology materials and substrates are efficiently pretreated according to individually definable surface properties.
