Strong Bonding: Only the partial pre-treatment by „Openair“ plasma enables adhsion of a TPU soft component to the PP body.
As a producer of TPU, we can remarkably enlarge and improve the bonding possibilities of TPU with other thermoplastics in sandwich moulding through the application of the “Openair” plasma technology. The advantages with regard to other methods are unequivocal: aside the decisive function, the integration of this plasma technology into processes is uncomplicated, and there are no problems with industrial hygiene or environmental pollution.
